After once again being dissapointed with the service and attitude at Formal Affair Despair Lee suggested we try Moss Bros at Beatties in Wolverhampton after using them for their wedding the year before last. We popped in today, found a nicer suit at a much better price and booked it. They’ve also got stores all over the country including one in Plymouth (so Owen can get measured up) and one in Ashford (not far for Elric to go). So it’s a jolly two fingered salute to Formal Dismal Affair

After a lot of hard work from Mel, our wedding invitations are finally in production and should be winging their way to you soon. We’re building them a few at a time so they won’t be landing on everyone’s doormat straight away, make sure to keep an eye out for them over the coming fortnight.
Those of you we see over the next week or so will get yours specially delivered by hand
Mel has designed and made all the invitations herself, all the necessary materials etc were ordered off eBay or picked up at a stationer. Starting with the interior design for the card, the printed inserts to the front decoration Mel designed and printed the card and paper, then lovingly crafted the front.
You’ll also find a menu card inside to fill out and return to us with your response. We’ll be placing a response form on the website soon so if you’re just bursting to tell us your coming then you don’t have to wait for the post.
We hope you like the invites and that you can make it on the day. After all, how could you miss this? 
Welcome to Chris and Mel’s wedding site. We’ve built this site as a way to record the pre-wedding build up, the big day and what happens afterwards so we can share it with you, our friends and family the people we care about.
